Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach
We’re lucky to work, live and play in one of the most beautiful places on earth. But don’t take our word for it. Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand are awarded as one of the world’s best beaches year after year.
Our home developments and commercial buildings take up residence on the Grand Strand, a long strand or stretch (60 miles, to be exact) of uninterrupted beach from Little River south to the Winyah Bay in Georgetown. The beaches are our biggest tourist attraction, drawing in more than 10 million visitors each season. But there’s so much more to see and do here year-round, from restaurants, theme parks, theatres and nightlife to golf courses, water sports and more.
The Grand Strand calls two counties home: Horry and Georgetown. Horry County is the largest in the state of South Carolina, located in its most northeastern corner, and comprised of a diverse, heavenly terrain of rivers, beaches, forest and swamps – from the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Little Pee Dee River to the west. West of the Intracoastal Waterway and Waccamaw River is Conway, where Creekside is headquartered, and the surrounding rural communities of Loris and Longs to the north. The peaceful countryside is dotted by horse farms, forests and parks, anchored by a quaint historic town of Conway, which boasts a hub of art galleries, shops and cafes.
